Senior Data Engineer
Marco is a physicist-mathematician with experience in algorithms, databases, machine learning, blockchain applications, and scientific programming.
He completed his bachelor degree with a summa cum laude mention from Michoacan University of Saint Nicholas of Hidalgo (UMSNH), with a thesis entitled: “A blockchain framework for electronic voting”.
His programming skills have made him a winner of several hackathons. He also has several IBM certifications, among which those of Big Data (Hadoop and Spark), Hyperledger Fabric, machine learning, python and data science stand out. Nevertheless he tries to always be in constant learning.
Some other of his interests and learning projects are Quantum Computing and it’s applications to machine learning, criptography and cyber security, and topologycal data analysis.
Marco is originally from the city of Uruapan, he is an amateur photographer and is interested in Mexican Signal Language.
