Our Story
"During the COVID-19 pandemic, co-founders Arturo and Pedro identified the urgent need for access to health information and data analysis."
Origin and Team
They were classmates at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they studied Computer Engineering.
With Arturo's experience as a data scientist at Stanford and Genentech, combined with Pedro's 15 years of experience in software development at Cantera Digital and in the world of journalism, they founded Amphora Health.
Our Vision
Their goal was to create an ecosystem that would transform complex health data into valuable insights to improve patient health in Michoacán.
Belug Science emerged from the need for a health dashboard to explore data without requiring programming, but it gradually evolved into an intelligent data repository that promises to be a leading health data resource in Latin America.
The team developed Vaquita EHR with the idea of offering a simple system that understands healthcare professionals and helps them streamline their daily practice. In short, using international best practices for electronic health records at an incredibly low price.
Key Milestones
Founding and Start of Operations
Amphora Health is founded in Morelia, Mexico, beginning operations with international client projects focused on bioinformatics.
Corporate Transformation to SAPI
The company changes its legal structure to become an Investment Promotion Company (SAPI), aligning its corporate framework for future growth.
Public Launch of Vaquita EHR
Vaquita EHR is launched to the public, commencing its operation as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.
