His expertise encompasses litigation, including civil, administrative, and amparo trial cases, as well as dispute resolution, intellectual property (including trademarks, patents, IP, and copyrights), antitrust, compliance, corporate law, and digital law.
With a rich professional background, David has contributed significantly to the legal landscape. In 2004, he served as a Regional Lawyer at Banco Compartamos, demonstrating his early commitment to the field. From 2005 to 2019, he held the position of Senior Legal Manager at Cinépolis, where he oversaw three crucial areas: Litigation-Regulatory, Corporate-Commercial, and Global Compliance Officer. During his tenure, David actively participated in providing legal counsel that facilitated the company’s global expansion, handling matters in various jurisdictions. In 2016, he furthered his experience by joining the Galicia Abogados firm as an Associate, specializing in corporate and securities law.
David is not only a seasoned professional but also an active member of prominent legal associations. He is affiliated with the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México (Mexico’s National Lawyers Bar) and the Barra Michoacana de Abogados (Michoacan’s Lawyers Bar).
