David runs his own professional practice (Viveros Vazquez y Asociados) focusing on several law practice-areas: litigation (civil, administrative and amparo trial), dispute resolution, intellectual property (trademarks, patents, IP, copyrights), antitrust, compliance, corporate law, and digital law.
In 2004 he collaborated as Regional Lawyer at Banco Compartamos, and from 2005 to 2019 he worked as Senior Legal Manager at Cinépolis (in charge of three areas: Litigation-Regulatory, Corporate-Commercial and Global Compliance Officer), where he actively participated in legal advice that supported the growth of the company worldwide, as well as the attention of matters in other jurisdictions. In 2016 he was part of the Galicia Abogados firm, as Associate in the areas of corporate and securities law.
David is an active member of the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México (Mexico’s National Lawyers Bar), the Barra Michoacana de Abogados (Michoacan’s Lawyers Bar) and the International Alumni Association.
