Dr. Felipe completed medical training from the Michoacan University of Saint Nicholas of Hidalgo (UMSNH), and subsequently continued to residency training of Family Medicine from the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY) and the Mexican Institute for Social Security (IMSS).
At IMSS he has held various roles as intern, resident, and clinician at Family Medicine Units in Michoacan and Yucatan. His role has been involved with providing clinical care in urban areas and hard-to-reach communities.
